The Mt. St. Helens Club is southwest Washington’s oldest & favorite
outing club. Currently with 100 members & growing, the club
schedules hikes (almost) every Monday and (almost) every Saturday
year round. During the winter, hikes are often replaced by x-country
skiing & snowshoeing. Other outdoor activities include biking,
camping, canoeing and picnicking.
Monday hikes are Easy to Moderate: (3 to 7 miles & less than 1000 elevation)
Saturday hikes are Moderate to Difficult (5 to 12 miles & over 1000 elevation).

Runners and walkers meet each Saturday for an hour of exercise followed by coffee. Location varies each week, check website for details.
Come to the Cowlitz Community Farmer's Market and find produce, plants, crafts, baked goods, eggs, entertainment, and fun! Come on down and join the fun there's something good for everyone!

Sign ups for Longview Girls Softball will be on Sat. Feb. 7th at the clubhouse at the softball fields on 7th Ave. (next to Columbia Ford). Registrations will be taken from 10am-2pm. Please bring a copy of your birth certificate. For more information, please contact the league office at 577-1006.

The Snake Clan Medicine Wheel teachings are taught by Chief Roy Wilson (Grandfather) the Spiritual Leader and Storyteller of the Cowlitz tribe. Kyle Ward and Maureen Browning, Ritual and Shamanic Practitioners, Healers and Sun Dancers will show you how to contact the spirits of the medicine wheel to assist in ordinary daily life by receiving helpful information, teachings and guidance.

ARE YOU LIVING IN FEAR OF FORECLOSURE?
Housing counselors are available the first Saturday of every month at the Longview Public Library 1600 Louisiana St, Longview, WA 98632 from 12 pm until 4 pm to provide resources regarding foreclosure and the options available to homeowners.

Event Description: 2010 Winter Backpack Drive for the Homeless of Cowlitz County
Goal: To assemble winter survival kits to distribute to the communities homeless and less fortunate. Promote awareness and outreach to those in need during the cold winter months.
When: Donations may be dropped at Three Rivers International House of Prayer starting October 1st through October 23rd.
On October 23rd from 6-8 pm there will be a night of prayer focusing on the homeless population of Cowlitz County. There will be live music and fellowship.

Note: All donations are tax deductable, as the Drive will operate under TRiHOP's 501(c)3 status.
TRiHOP is open dailey from 5 am - 7 am and 7pm - 9 pm
