Fri Sept 24th- The Olympia Jazz Tentette
"A Tribute to West Coast Jazz: the music of Shorty Rogers, Marty Paich and Gerry Mulligan" directed by Syd Potter and featuring many outstanding musicians from around Puget Sound in a little big band setting.

Sat Sept 25th- Los Calaveras
Los Calaveras plays a mix of Latin American and original songs with an energetic and improvisational style. The music is marked by a sense of groove and a Latin feel that show folkloric, jazz, rock, and blues influences. The musicians bring on an unpredictable mix of instruments that may include the cuatro puertorriqueño and guitarron, guitars, and violin, along with saxophone, clarinet, congas and percussion. For over 20 years, Los Calaveras has been playing together in their home base of Olympia and around Western Washington.

Sun Sept 26th- Special O.P.S. & Professor Gall
SPECIAL O.P.S. (Ostrowski-Parris-Seman) is a free improvisation commando unit replete with dark regalia, sonic hand grenades and a warped sense of humor. Their performances draw influence from contemporary chamber composition, small group jazz improvisation, electronic experimentalism, metal, droll wit and sonic shenanigans.
The Portland, Oregon conglomerate Professor Gall consists of Drew Norman on vocals, guitar, and banjo, who conveys a 'Top Hat' stage persona and is responsible for the initial musical and lyrical embellishments. He is also a 'go to' man hired for studio work and live shows for the likes of Jeff Hanson (Kill Rock Stars), Chris Robley's Fear of Heights (Cutthroat Pop) and Will West (local roots troubadour). Chad Youngman, a long time musical cohort of Norman's, provides stand-up bass, polytheistic vision, and conceptual lyrics; while Scott Johnston heads up the first chair position for the horn section, arranging charts and providing his saxophone alchemy. Rounding out the ensemble is Monte Skillings on trombone, Russell Gores on drums, and Andrew Clarinet on the.…ahem…clarinet.
