The Longview City Council meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on 2nd floor of Longview City Hall at 1525 Broadway, Longview. The City Hall is accessible for persons with disabilities. Special equipment to assist the hearing impaired is also available. Community Conversations
Law, Order, and the Public Good
Community Conversations is a free lecture series examining a current topic each quarter.
Credit is available by enrolling in Humanities 106. Please see Community Conversations for the schedule of speakers and topics.
The Castle Rock Exhibit Hall will host its annual quilt show this February. The show will run the entire month; however, open hours are limited to Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 AM to 2 PM.
New and vintage quilts will be displayed within the three museum galleries at the Exhibit Hall. Enjoy dozens of beautiful quilts while learning about the history of Castle Rock, Mt. St. Helens, logging, and the North Cowlitz County area.
Admission to the show is free, but donations are gratefully accepted! The Exhibit Hall gift shop will also be open during the show—featuring Mt. St. Helens coffee mugs, local history books, Bigfoot items, toys, and much more. And be sure to enjoy other shops and restaurants in Castle Rock after you see the quilt show.
