The Mt. St. Helens Club is southwest Washington’s oldest & favorite outing
club.  Currently with 100 members & growing, the club schedules hikes
(almost) every Monday and (almost) every Saturday year round.  During
the winter, hikes are often replaced by x-country skiing & snowshoeing. 
Other outdoor activities include biking, camping, canoeing and picnicking.

Monday hikes are Easy to Moderate: (3 to 7 miles & less than 1000 elevation)
Saturday hikes are Moderate to Difficult (5 to 12 miles & over 1000 elevation).

Rainier City Council Meeting

Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at Rainier City Hall from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Area group meets every Monday and Friday evening at Three Rivers House of Prayer, 1335 11th Ave in Longview.  There is ample parking on the northwest corner of 11th and Hudson.  Gambling addiction hurts millions of Americans.  This includes individuals and families right here in Cowlitz County.  Come join and get the help you need.  There are no dues and no official sign up is necessary.

The Town Council meets on the third Monday of each month,
except for January and February when they are held on
the third Tuesday due to Federal Holidays.

Meetings are held at the Fire Hall Meeting Room,
255 Second Street and begin promptly at 07:00 p.m.

Caring for someone with memory loss?

Alzheimer's Association caregive support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share, and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with dimentia.  A free information and support group for care partners, family members and friends of individuals with dimentia will be held on the 3rd Monday of each month.

LADIES OF THE LAKE QUILT GUILD MEETING

FREE Norwegian Language Class at the Sons of Norway Lodge from 7 - 9 pm each Monday through May at 224 Catlin St, W Kelso.  Class is open to beginners and more experienced speakers alike. Community members are most welcome! We practice speaking simple phrases, listen to lessons on CD and have lots of repetition. There is a coffee and snack break at 8 pm followed by singing Norwegian songs with Tom Monson on the accordion. Join the FUN and make new friends!
