Counseling for small businesses (either existing or those being formed) is provided free by S.C.O.R.E., an adjunct of the Small Business Administration.  One hour sessions are scheduled each Tuesday morning at 9, 10 & 11am.

Join us for a Community Vision Session on Tuesday, April 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Longview City Hall Council Chambers.

Re-energizing and revitalizing Downtown Longview has been identified as an important step in helping our community to increase economic development opportunities. This community vision session will help us determine the best approach to obtaining greater economic vitality in Downtown Longview.

The following questions will be asked during the session. How will you answer?

1. If our citizens, business community, non-profit groups, and local government were to work together over the next five years to make Downtown Longview the very best it could be, what would you like to see result from that effort?

2. For you to consider those efforts a success, what would Downtown look like in five years?

3. What would be the mix of uses found in Downtown?

4. Who would the customers and users of our successful Downtown be in five years?

5. What kinds of goods and services would you be able to find there?

6. What would you like Downtown’s image to be five years from now?

How to Help
Donate new and unopened granola bars and juice boxes/packs to give to Kessler Elementary School for breakfast.

Why Help
Sometimes children go to school without eating and it would be nice for them to have a snack to start their day.

Helping Each Week
There are two decorated bins at the two entrances to the Student Center where donations can be dropped off. The food from both bins will be collected weekly and delivered to Kessler Elementary throughout Spring quarter.
